What age are the workshops suitable for?

Most workshops are suitable for children aged 5+. If a session has a different age range, this will be clearly stated on the booking page.

Question 2

Do parents need to stay?

Parents are very welcome to stay for the session, or you can leave and return at pick-up time. It also depends on the workshop and age of your child.

Does my child need to be good at art?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. The sessions are about exploring, experimenting and enjoying the creative process. There's no pressure for everyone's work to look the same.

What should my child bring?

Nothing special! All art materials are provided. I recommend bringing a drink, wearing clothes that can get messy. If the class is in the Yurt, bringing a cushion to sit on, as we'll be sitting on the yurt floor (no shoes on).

Can siblings attend?

Yes, as long as they fall within the age range for the session and each child has a booked place. If you're unsure whether a younger sibling would be suitable, please get in touch before booking.

What if my child has additional needs or feels anxious in groups?

Please contact me before the session and let me know anything that may help your child feel comfortable. I'll always do my best to make the sessions welcoming, relaxed and supportive.

How big are the groups?

I keep sessions small and relaxed so children have space to create and I can support them individually — max 12 for the Home Ed class.

What happens if my child finishes early?

Children are encouraged to work at their own pace. There are usually opportunities to add to their artwork, explore extra materials or begin another small creative activity.

Are there toilets on site?

I will always find a venue with toilets on site. At the Home Ed class, yes there toilets available on site for children and accompanying adults.

Is there parking?

For the Home Ed class, Yes, free parking is available at the farm for the duration of the session. For other classes, there will be parking near by or on site, depending on the location.

Are all materials included?

Yes. All materials needed for the workshop are included in the booking price, unless otherwise stated in the booking ticket information.

What should my child wear?

Please wear clothes that can get messy, as art materials can sometimes stain clothing.

Can I take photographs?

You're welcome to photograph your own child. Please avoid including other children in photographs unless you have their parent or carer's permission.

Photos may occasionally be taken for Kerry's Creative Corner, but only where appropriate permission has been given.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

All bookings are final. We're unable to offer refunds, exchanges or transfers once a session has been booked, so please make sure you can attend before purchasing your ticket.If I need to cancel a workshop for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
