These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings for classes, workshops and other activities provided by Kerry’s Creative Corner.

By making a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. About Kerry’s Creative Corner

Kerry’s Creative Corner provides creative art and craft classes, workshops and activities for children.

2. Booking a place

Places must be booked through the booking method shown on the Kerry’s Creative Corner website.

A place is only confirmed once the booking has been successfully completed and payment has been received.

Places are subject to availability.

Please check the date, time, location and age guidance carefully before completing your booking.

3. Age guidance

Each class or workshop will include an appropriate age range.

Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring that the child they book is within the stated age range unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed with me in advance.

If you are unsure whether a session is suitable for your child, please contact me before booking.

4. Parents and carers

Unless a particular event states otherwise, parents and carers are welcome to stay during the session or leave and return at the stated collection time.

Where a parent or carer leaves the venue, they must remain contactable for the duration of the session.

Children must be collected promptly at the stated finish time.

5. Additional needs, allergies and medical information

Please let me know before the session about any allergies, medical conditions, additional needs or other information that may reasonably affect your child’s participation or safety.

I will always aim to make sessions welcoming and inclusive, but parents and carers remain responsible for providing accurate and relevant information.

If you are unsure whether I can appropriately support a particular need, please contact me before booking.

6. Clothing and belongings

Art and craft sessions can be messy.

Children should wear clothes that are suitable for creative activities and that parents or carers are comfortable with becoming stained or marked.

Kerry’s Creative Corner cannot guarantee that paints, inks, glue or other art materials will wash out of clothing.

Please avoid bringing valuable personal belongings to sessions.

7. Materials

Unless stated otherwise, the materials needed for the activity are included in the booking price.

Children may be offered a range of materials and are encouraged to explore and work at their own pace.

8. Behaviour and safety

I want sessions to be relaxed, enjoyable and safe for everyone.

Children are expected to behave in a way that does not put themselves, other children or adults at unreasonable risk.

If a child becomes distressed or their behaviour makes it unsafe for the session to continue, I may contact their parent or carer and ask them to collect the child.

I will always aim to handle situations calmly and sensitively.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Places are limited and your booking reserves a space specifically for your child.

If you choose to cancel or are unable to attend, refunds are not normally available.

Where possible, I may offer the option to transfer your booking to another available session. Transfers are offered at my discretion and cannot be guaranteed.

If I am able to fill your cancelled place with another customer, I may offer a refund or transfer, taking into account any reasonable costs already incurred.

Failure to attend a session without notice will normally be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be offered.

If Kerry’s Creative Corner cancels a workshop, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to another suitable session.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

10. Home Education Courses and Block Bookings

Bookings for multi-week courses are for the full course, and your child’s place is reserved for the entire block.

If your child misses an individual session, no refund, credit or replacement session will normally be available.

If you choose to withdraw from the course after booking, refunds are not normally available.

If I am able to refill the place, I may offer a partial refund or transfer, taking into account any reasonable costs already incurred.

If Kerry’s Creative Corner cancels an individual session, I will arrange a replacement session where possible or provide an appropriate refund or credit for the cancelled session.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

11. Cancellation by Kerry’s Creative Corner

Occasionally I may need to cancel or postpone a class or workshop due to illness, venue problems, severe weather, low attendance or circumstances outside my reasonable control.

If I cancel a session and cannot provide a suitable alternative, you will be offered a refund for the affected session.

Where possible, I may instead offer you the option to transfer your booking to another date.

I will give as much notice as reasonably possible.

12. Changes to a session

From time to time, I may need to make reasonable changes to an activity, materials, venue arrangements or session content.

Any significant change affecting the date, time or nature of the booking will be communicated to you as soon as reasonably possible.

13. Photography

Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken during sessions.

Images of children will only be used by Kerry’s Creative Corner for promotional purposes where the appropriate permission has been given.

Parents and carers who take photographs during a session should avoid photographing or sharing images of other children without permission.

14. Parking and venue facilities

Where free parking, toilets or other facilities are available, details will normally be provided on the relevant event or booking page.

Facilities may be provided by the venue rather than Kerry’s Creative Corner and are subject to the venue’s own arrangements.

15. Illness

Please do not bring a child to a session if they are unwell with an illness that could reasonably be passed to other participants.

If your child becomes unwell during a session, I may contact you and ask you to collect them.

16. Responsibility and statutory rights

I will provide classes and workshops with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any responsibility that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.

17. Website content

Unless otherwise stated, the written content, photographs, craft ideas and original materials on the Kerry’s Creative Corner website belong to Kerry’s Creative Corner.

They are provided for personal, non-commercial use unless permission has been given for another use.

Please do not reproduce, sell or republish substantial parts of the website or its original resources without permission.

18. Privacy

Personal information provided when contacting Kerry’s Creative Corner or making a booking will be handled in accordance with the Kerry’s Creative Corner Privacy Policy.
